The Sagrada Familia is a famous Catholic basilica located in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It is considered one of the most famous works of the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí and is an emblematic symbol of the city of Barcelona.

Construction of the Sagrada Familia began in 1882, but Gaudí did not begin work on the project until 1883. For almost 40 years, Gaudí worked on the design and construction of the basilica, which was to be a mixture of architectural styles, including Gothic and Art Nouveau.

Unfortunately, Gaudí died in 1926 before seeing the completion of the basilica. Since then, different architects have continued the work according to Gaudí's plans, and construction is still ongoing to this day.
