GAUGUIN painter's painting; the beautiful native life

Paul Gauguin, born on June 7, 1848 in Paris and died on May 8, 1903 in Atuona, Hiva Oa, in the Marquesas Islands, is a postimpressionist painter. A leader of the Pont-Aven School and an inspiration to the Nabis, he is considered one of the major French painters of the 19th century, and one of the most important precursors of modern art with Munch and Cézanne.

This Gauguin painting was painted at the end of his life as he retired from civilization in Tahiti. His painting is inspired by his fascination for Tahitian women and the thousand colours of the island. This canvas has everything to embellish your wall decoration.
