Egyptian god of necropolises and embalming, Anubis is represented by a black canine, or like a man with a dog's head. He would be the son of Osiris and Isis or rather of his sister Nephthys who had borrowed the appearance of Isis. Most of Anubis' epithets link him to death and embalming.
This statuette pays homage to this god of Egyptian civilization and will easily find its place in your furniture or on a desk. A great gift idea for the holidays or a birthday.
